Q: What should I bring to my first appointment?
A: Here is a list of things to remember:
  • The physical therapy prescription from your physician.
  • Your completed registration papers, if you printed out the appropriate forms from this site.
  • Any and all insurance cards.
  • Contact information/claim numbers, especially if this is a work related injury or a motor vehicle accident.
  • List of present medications that you may be taking.
  • Your medical history: including types/dates of past surgeries or past medical problems that you feel are important for us to know about.
  • Appropriate clothing (See description below).
  • A ride home, especially if your physician has instructed you not to drive.
Minors under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian with them, unless document authorization has been previously received.

Q: Approximately how long will each treatment session last?
A: The first visit will be a little longer than the subsequent visits, although, in general the visits will be about 30 minutes long.

Q: Are you in contact with my doctors who refer patients to us?
A:Yes, we work very closely with all physicians who have patients with us.

Q: What should I wear to my therapy sessions?
A: If you are being seen for a shoulder that has NOT been operated on, we recommend that you wear a tank top. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one upon your arrival.

If you are being seen following a shoulder surgery we recommend that you wear a button down shirt over your sling.

If you are being seen for a back problem, we recommend that you wear loose fitting clothing. Men usually wear shorts and a tank top. Women usually wear shorts and a sports bra.

If you are being seen for a lower leg, knee, ankle, or foot injury, we recommend that you bring a pair of shorts to wear.

Q: Is Physical Therapy painful?
A: In most cases, no. Our primary goal is to reduce symptoms and get you back to 100% in the quickest and safest way possible. Although, there may be times when therapy can be uncomfortable. If you experience pain, you should immediately inform your therapist.

Q: Will Insurance cover Physical Therapy?

Q: What if my symptoms worsen while attending Therapy?
A: You should always update your Physical Therapist of any changes in the symptoms being treated.

Q: Do I have to see a doctor before I receive treatment?
A: Yes, we require a rehabilitation request from your doctor.

Q: How many visits am I going to need?
A: This depends completely on your symptoms and the severity of the symptoms. Some injuries have a longer recovery time, some are shorter.

Q: What type of ailments can Therapy treat?
A: A very wide variety of ailments can be treated by therapy including Vertigo, Sports Injuries, Arthritis, Sciatica, and many more.

Q: What are the clinic hours?
A: The clinic hours are from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Scheduled appointments can be made beginning at 7:00 AM and the last scheduled appointments are taken at 5:15 PM Monday-Thursday, and 4:00 PM on Friday.
