Wanda Wilnes, PT
Wanda Wilnes grew up in Cook, Nebraska graduating from Nemaha Valley Schools. She attended Midland Lutheran College for pre-physical therapy studies. Wanda graduated with her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Division of Physical Therapy Education in 1981. She received an undergraduate Specialization in Gerontology through the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).
Wanda treats a variety of chronic pain conditions using various treatment techniques that includes myofascial release (MFR), Graston Technique which is an instrument- assisted treatment of soft tissue mobilization, and is trained in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars. Wanda has worked in various setting which has included acute care, nursing home, and out-patient clinics. She has practiced in Kearney, NE, Holdrege, NE, Little Rock, AR, and now in Lincoln for over 5 years.
Her treatment philosophy includes patient participation in the plan of care, hands-on techniques for pain and symptom relief, followed by individualized exercise instruction.
